Beautiful Sparkly Blue Celestite partial geode. Lovely blue calming crystals fill this geode. It sparkles when it hits the light, even the outside of the geode sparkles, color changes in different lighting, I try and show a few off. Really nice medium cabinet/ display specimen 340g

Celestine or celestite, is a mineral consisting of strontium sulfate. The mineral is named for its occasional delicate blue color. Celestine occurs as crystals, and also in compact massive and fibrous forms. It is mostly found in sedimentary rocks, often associated with the minerals gypsum, anhydrite, and halite. The mineral is found worldwide, usually in small quantities. Pale blue crystal specimens are found in Madagascar. The skeletons of the protozoan Acantharea are made of celestine, unlike those of other radiolarians which are made of silica. In carbonate marine sediments, burial dissolution is a recognised mechanism of celestine precipitation

Celestite, aka celestine, is said to be an angelic stone. It is used to foster and forge connections to the angel realm and even to angels themselves. Tradition has it that celestite has been given consciousness raising and guidance powers from the angels. Using celestite with sincere prayer or meditation one can channel angelic wisdom and communications.
