Although you may find Blue Aragonite in Austria, China, Greece, Mexico, Morocco and Pakistan, the texture and depth of blue colors will vary depending on the material's origin location. Aragonite is a carbonate mineral, one of the three most common naturally occurring crystal forms of calcium carbonate, CaCO 3 (the other forms being the minerals calcite and vaterite).
