Beautiful polished Amethyst Super 7 point from Brazil. It has a lovely deep purple color, which make for a truly beautiful piece. Has varying shades of Purple, red, yellow, and even some grey. 222g

Amethyst is a violet variety of quartz often used in jewelry. The name comes from the ancient Greek ἀ a- ("not") and μέθυστος méthystos ("intoxicated"), a reference to the belief that the stone protected its owner from drunkenness. The ancient Greeks wore amethyst and made drinking vessels decorated with it in the belief that it would prevent intoxication. It is one of several forms of quartz. Amethyst is a semiprecious stone and is the traditional birthstone for February.
Amethyst can lose it's color if left in direct sunlight over time so keep it indoors and do not display it in a window. Artificial light or temporary sun exposure are fine though.
Amethyst is a meditative and calming stone which works in the emotional, spiritual, and physical planes to promote calm, balance, and peace. It is also used to eliminate impatience.
